One of Ben’s nurses, NUSS Pam, sent me an email last night. Here is what she said:
Hi, I’m Pam, Ben’s nurse at UAB.
He and I have been taking pictures; and his mom and dad thought it would be a good idea to send them to you..

Ben is forever amazing me with his spirit. Your family is truly blessed to have this amazing young boy as a part of it. I pray for each of you, especially your mom and sister.

Hey! Uncle Vernon and Nuss pam. The pictures were wonderful, especially the one with the mustache and the other one with the jerry lewis look a like. Really all of them were great and once again thanks for the pictures and updates. Lana I love you so much and your husband as well as the rest of your family you all are so wonderful and Please!!!! don’t forget that me and my family are praying for every one each and everyday. WOW!! These pictures are fabulous. Ben, you look like a movie star in all of your cool glasses! And you are so smart to share them with everyone. I know all the doctors and nurses are so pleased to get to spend time with you! Nuss Pam, thank-you so very much for these photos. They have really ministered to those of us who want so badly to “storm the castle” and take that sweet boy home! Marilyn and family, we love you all, and we are praying for you. Love, Anna
